Not a very productive day

Today was pretty much a bust for me. After the morning call, I had to go with my mom to the Social Security Adminstration so she could register for death benefits since my dad passed. No one told us that you have to actually register for this stuff, so it was a long day of waiting. After a few attempts to speak to the people waiting with us and no contacts, I threw in the towel. It wasn't that I didn't want to try, but some of those people were so downright nasty that the negative energy in the room was stifling. One positive thing did happen there though...my mom is totally on board to help me/us in any way that she can. She was encouraged by the way that I am approaching things with MPM and she said that she would do anything to help.

So when we got home today, she made a list of people that she would call that are in her circle. She and I are going to do that on Tuesday of next week since she has dialysis on Mondays. I am excited to work with her!

I also started a group on Facebook to track my progress and invite people to join. It's still in the work-in-progress stage, but I hope to have it done tomorrow.

Finally, I finished up the Super Bowl preparations for the party on Sunday. I have labels on all of the door prizes, and the grand prize poster is finished. I am hopeful that it will be a great party.

See you all on Monday! Lisa

please take pictures before people get there and after. You could put them up on my space and facebook etc. Also, Maybe print out different stories from the power booster book for everyone. Especially the kids. The kids you should print out the 101 ways youth can change the world. Maybe, even print out the one on animals and have them choose which one they want. Maybe they can read some of the stories or ways and disguss T-day with them and who they would like to help if they could. just a thought,Check out Restruant.com for a couple or few of bucks you can give them as a prizes. Would make for a nice lunch for the kids to get together. Maybe a world changer club meeting. To decide how they are going to change the world on t-day. I can't wait for monday to hear how it went.
When my dad passed, I was 19, 20 days before my 20th b-day. I remember doing that at s.s. My sister went when my mom died. Well, what I want to say is you are going into a different place with your mom. And being that you are going to (work?)play? together is going to be an amazing experience. I did work with my mom after my dad. We worked in the flea market together. Enjoy it!!!!! This is going to be anamazing experience with your mom. I cannot wait. On that note, I hope that all of you guys in the boot camp are going to keep up on your blogs here after the b. c. I want you all to know that you are all very much apart of my life. That sounds so crazy. Never meeting. people all over the world. But we have gone through sickness and in health, accidents, almost getting tickets, snow storms, hurricanes, even death. Lisa,
That's great news about you getting to work with your Mom. It's been an absolute gift to work with Big Z, but I also dream of the day I will have my other family members on board to have a family team effort . . . growing abundance and good in the world together. You gals sure have a constructive use of the dialysis time ;-) by making calls. You're Mom is right, too. You are approaching MPM professionally, enthusiastically and creatively, as well as from your heart. Have an awesome weekend & Super Bowl Sunday!!!

Tina, hope you had fun dancing ;-).

Hello Lisa,
I know what you are saying about doctors offices there is never any positive energy in any I have ever been in. You are going to love working together with your mom. When my dad died, me being the oldest, would get a call day and night usually about her TV not working. Thankfully when dad died she bought a condo near me I was able to get there in just a few minutes. I came in handy as she got older and started falling more often. I still remember the night she called me about 11:30 her recliner fell back and she couldn't get out. We laughed about that for a long time afterwards, although I wasn't laughing at the time. She had woke me up with that call. She died in August and I miss those times together.

Any way I looked for you on Facebook and didn't find you there. Send me a link when you get it set up I am curious about the group you want to set up.
